Two Rivers Marketing is looking for an individual to help manage public relations activities for large, national business-to-business accounts.

Job responsibilities include assisting with the development of strategic plans, client relations, managing media relations, and writing news releases and technical feature stories. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience managing work teams and/or business in a public relations capacity
  • Experience working in an agency environment preferred
  • Degree in journalism or communications, preferably with public relations or related emphasis
  • Experience with, and comfort in, managing ongoing media relations efforts including editor outreach, story pitching, and editorial planning
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and efforts
  • Strong communication skills, combined with business acumen
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent writing and interviewing skills
  • Ability to engage and maintain relationships with client contacts
  • Aptitude in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in social media preferred
