Friday FYI recap: Food Bank of Iowa

Danny Akright, communications manager at The Food Bank of Iowa, discussed creative ways nonprofits can effectively tell their story with limited resources, including leveraging thought leaders, finding the right balance using client voices and reaching out to local partners for in-kind contributions and pro-bono work.

Attendees also received a tour of the newly refurbished Food Bank facility which provided an incredibly visual representation of the impact the Food Bank of Iowa has in moving forward across our state for people in need.
